On this tour you will see theimpressive Drum Tower, meet a family livingin a typical courtyard house. After lunch visitthe Temple of Heaven. Sightseeing in Xian including avisit to the Ancient City Walls, Wild GoosePagoda (regarded by many as a symbol of thecity) and the Bell Tower. After lunch,visit the Banpo Neolithic Village and HuaqingHot Springs, favourite retreat of emperors andtheir concubines during the Tang Dynasty.Return to Xian. (B,L)Day 7 Xian to ChongqingMorning visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum,which exhibits over 3,000 unearthedhistorical relics, a small fraction of theircollection. Most of the exhibited items are raretreasures, before transfer to railway stationfor overnight train to Chongqing. (B)Day 8 ChongqingArrive Chongqing early morning and enjoy asightseeing tour of the city including a visit toEling Park, one of the oldest private gardensin Chongqing.
