(B)Day 7 Busan to ChungjuTravel to Gayasan National Park to visitthe famous Haeinsa Temple, home to oneof Korea’s chief national treasures, theTripikata Koreana, made to protect Koreafrom Mongolian troops. Continue to Andongand Hahoe, a traditional village known for itsmask dance. Travel to Chungju Lake and checkinto resort for 1 night. (B)Day 8 Gyeongju to BusanEnjoy a sightseeing boat trip on ChungjuLake (subject to weather conditions) beforetravelling to Gangneung to visit the ChamsoriGramophone and Audio Museum. Fromhere, continue to Mt. Seorak to stay at theSamhwasa Temple. Upon arrival at the templeyou will be given clothes to wear during yourstay as well as an explanation of temple life andcustoms for your stay. In the evening, attenda bell-ringing ceremony and enjoy chantingmass and a course in meditation. (B)Day 9 Mt SeorakOpt for an early wake up for morning massand the chance to view the sunrise over theEast Coast. After breakfast, transfer to theBorder Unification Observatory for viewsinto North Korea. Afterwards return to Mt.Seorak National Park and take a cable car toGwonkeumsansung to visit the ShinheungsaTemple. Here, choose to relax in hot springs orswim at the Waterpia Spa Park (paid locally).Check into hotel for 1 night. (B)Day 10 Mt Seorak to SeoulAfter breakfast transfer to Gapyeong to visitthe Morning Calm Flower and Tree Park*,which displays and houses unique Korean wildflowers and trees in a garden located in anattractive mountain valley. From here transferto Seoul and visit Itaewon Street for a chanceto shop.
