Product Description:Interior or ExteriorNexTech Water Reducible Alkyd Semi-Gloss EnamelNexTech Waterborne Semi-Gloss Enamel is an alkyd dispersion – the next step in waterborne technology. NexTech isa premium enamel that incorporates all of the positive attributes of alkyd/oil based paints with the benefit of soap andwater cleanup, extremely low VOC’s and almost NO odor. NexTech applies easily, dries quickly and levels whenbrushed, like a sprayed-on finish. It’s a hard, durable coating which virtually eliminates blocking (the tendency of driedpainted to stick to itself or for books and other objects to stick to a painted surface). NexTech can be used on interiorand exterior surfaces.Recommended Use:For properly prepared interior and exterior surfaces such as wood, drywall, primed masonry, primed plaster and primedmetal.Application:WARNING! If you scrape, sand or remove old paint from any surface, you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC.EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY INCHILDREN. PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH-approved respirator tocontrol lead exposure. Carefully clean up with a wet mop or HEPA vacuum. Before you start, find out how to protectyourself and your family by contacting the U.S. EPA/Lead Information Hotline at 1-800-424-LEAD (5323) or log on towww.epa.gov/lead.SURFACE PREPARATION: Surfaces to be painted must be free of dust, mildew, dirt, grease, loose paint, oil, gluesize, calcimine, wax, soap, and other surface contamination. Patch irregularities with vinyl patching paste or anappropriate patching compound. NexTech Alkyd Dispersion is self-priming over previously painted surfaces in soundscondition as well as bare sheetrock, composition board, ceiling tile and concrete. Product can be applied by airless spray with a 0.017 to 0.019 tip. Air and surface temperatures should be50°F (10°C) or higher during application and drying time. To prevent the addition of VOC’s, this product should betinted with California Trillion® Super Strength Colorant. Check color for accuracy before application.CLEAN UP: Clean brushes and rollers with warn soapy water. A final rinse of mineral spirits is recommended toremove residual alkyd.DISPOSAL: For recycling guidance of any unused amount, contact your local or provincial organization of recoveryand recycling. Do notuse tint bases unstinted. Temperature of air and surface should be at least 50°F during application and curing time.Inadequate ventilation or high humidity will lengthen drying time. All colors should be applied on a small area, allowedto dry and approved for accuracy before doing the job.Safety Information:Keep out of reach of children. Do not take internally. Close container after each use.CAUTION: Use only with adequate ventilation. Do not breathe spray mist or sanding dust. Ensure fresh air entry duringapplication and drying. Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged or repeated contact with skin. Avoid exposure to dustand spray mist by wearing a NIOSH approved respirator during application, sanding and clean up. Follow respiratormanufacturer’s directions for respirator use. Close container after each use. Wash thoroughly after handling.FIRST AID: In case of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes; for skin, washthoroughly with soap and water. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention. If you experience difficulty breathing,leave the area to obtain fresh air.
