It sands easily and provides a superior basecoat for very smooth finish work.The superior sealing qualities of this primer will eliminate "flashing" on cured plaster surfaces that are to be topcoatedwith eggshell, semi-gloss or gloss finishes. This primer can be used as a sealer over surfaces that have suffered fromfire, smoke or water damage.Recommended Use:Plaster, wood, drywall, composition board. Patch irregularities with vinyl patching paste or an appropriate patching compound.Wallboard or Sheetrock - Tape joints should be sanded before priming, with care being exersized to prevent abrasion ofthe adjacent paper surface.Plaster, Veneer Plaster (Blueboard) - New plaster must be fully cured and should be wiped with a wet sponge toneutralize any "hot spots". The moisture content should be below 15%. Full plaster requires a minimum of 30 days,skimcoat plaster a minimum of 10 days to cure. Nibs should be knifed off before priming. Do not sand until aftersurface is primed.
