Product Description:InteriorUltraplate waterborne enamel is a satin finish acrylic urethane enamel with outstanding hide, leveling & adhesion.Recommended Use:This product was developed to provide a factory like finish when restoring old cabinets, shelving, furniture or many otherinterior surfaces where a smooth & tough coating is desired. Ultraplate’s remarkable adhesive properties make it anexcellent choice for those hard-to-stick to surfaces without need for priming.Application:WARNING! If you scrape, sand or remove old paint from any surface, you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC.EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY INCHILDREN. PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH-approved respirator to controllead exposure. Clean up carefully with a HEPA vacuum and wet mop. Before you start, find out how to protect yourselfand your family by contacting the National Lead Information Hotline at 1-800-424-LEAD or log on to www.epa.gov/leadSurface to be painted must be free of dust, mildew, dirt, grease, wax, loose paint or any other contaminant that mayinhibit good adhesion. Lightly sand hard or glossy surfaces after cleaning & before applying Ultraplate.Ultraplate is ready-to-use as it comes from the can. It may be thinned sparingly with water and may be tinted with up to 2oz. of California Paints’ Logicolor® or Trillion® colorant. Ultraplate may be applied by a quality synthetic brush, 3/8” orless nap roller, or by spray using HVLP or airless .019-.021 tip. Multiple thin coats are preferred rather than one heavycoat.
