Delivery will be made on transport a ranged for and paid by me/ us. 1/ We will also wIprovide and pay for unloading the carts at places of delivery and for weighing ov.ersupplies to unit there.7. The stores will be supplied in my/ our own packing articles I/We will arrange torecover of Railway Station or Supply Depot or unit concerned under my / our ownarrangements. Claims for loss or damage to packing material while in Govt. Charge fairwear and tear expected will invariable be submitted by me/us within one calendarmonth of a alleged loss. or damage. The amount to be paid will be settled by theCommandant TPT Bn ITB Police or an officer deputed by him whose decision will befina I.(a) The receipt for transaction will be certified by the Commandant of the unitconcerned which will support my/our claim for audit and payment.(b) I/We hereby agree that payment for supplies tender by me/ us under thecontract will be made to the credit of my/ our account in a recognized bankin the Union of India.(c) I/We am/are required to acknowledge the receipts of all cheques bank,drafts issued in my lour favour. With regard to me/us by post. I/We shallacknowledge receipts within 15 days from the date of their receipt willrender my/us liable to forfeit privilege of receiving cheques by post andunless I/We.(d) Furnish a satisfactory explanation for my / our default in this respectpayment through cheques / bank drafts sent by the post shall not reresumed and I/We shall be required to obtain cheque for future J2§Y!Den_t __on this contract from the Commandant TPT Bn ITB Police or his .--representative after rendering proper receipts.8. In the event of an agent employed by me/us for the delivery of supplies such agentmust be approved by the supply officer concerned. Agent(s) considered undesirable bythe officer operating the contract will be replaced by me/us by suitable desirableperson(s).9.
