He was born Aug. 7, 1919, in Johnston County to the late Andrew and Ada DormanParrish. He was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Glenn Parrish; a sister, Royaline Clayton;and a brother, Vernon Parrish.Mr. Parrish was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of Banner Post 109American Legion. He had retired from farming and Chicopee.Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel inBenson by Elder Danny Carroll. Burial will follow at Devotional Gardens in Dunn.Survivors include his wife, Vida Mae Dupree Parrish; daughters, Patricia “Pat” Parrish ofGarner and Brenda P. Lee and husband Stacy of Four Oaks; a son, E.
