In cold temperatures,raise the product to the upper limit position<strong>and</strong> take it out of service.Do not use the product in icy weather. Theproduct must be cleared of ice <strong>and</strong> snow beforeit can be used. Liability cannot be acceptedfor damage to the product resulting from the<strong>operation</strong> under icy conditions.Operating notesProduct damage from power failure!Motorised <strong>external</strong> <strong>venetian</strong> <strong>blinds</strong> cannot beraised <strong>with</strong>out power. Manual emergency <strong>operation</strong>or an emergency power supply should beconsidered for windy regions <strong>with</strong> frequentpower failures.Risk of crushing <strong>and</strong> injury!When raising <strong>and</strong> lowering the product, do notreach into movable parts (e.g. between the toprail <strong>and</strong> slat).Product damage <strong>and</strong> property damagefrom carelessness during <strong>operation</strong>!The projection area of the product must bekept clear of fixed <strong>and</strong> movable obstacles.Product damage from <strong>operation</strong> of a faultyproduct!Only operate <strong>external</strong> <strong>venetian</strong> <strong>blinds</strong> if theyare in technically perfect condition. If the <strong>external</strong><strong>venetian</strong> blind makes unusual noises ormovements, stop using it immediately.
