Operation3 Operation NOTEOnly operate the product if it is in technically perfectcondition.3.1 Operation of the <strong>crank</strong> driveLowering/raising the unit using the collapsible <strong>crank</strong>• Turn the collapsible<strong>crank</strong> clockwise/anticlockwise.Stop the <strong>external</strong> <strong>venetian</strong>blind in any position:Slow the turning movementof the <strong>crank</strong> downbefore fully lowering orraising the unit.• Do not turn any furtherwhen you feel a resistance.3.2 Operating the <strong>external</strong> <strong>venetian</strong> blinddrive NOTEDuring the cold season, unfavourable installation<strong>and</strong> building situations can lead to malfunctions ordamage due to the effects of sub-zero temperatures<strong>and</strong> ice.
