6.1 MENU DESCRIPTIONS (CONTINUED)SETPOINT MENU DESCRIPTIONS (Defaults in BoldType with √)NAME(Level 4, cont.)BANDVALHYSTERALARMPSHACCMPREACTPREVALBATCHDESCRIPTIONBandwidth Value. Usually hidden, if the TRIP parameter is set toeither INBAND or OUTBAND, this parameter will appear and offer away to set the value of the band. A band selected will fall equally ±on both sides of the setpoint value.Hysteresis. This value sets a ± band around the setpoint value thatmust be exceeded before the setpoint will trip again once it has shutoff.Alarm. This selection will flash an ALARM message on the displayscreen when the setpoint value is reached.Accumulate. When the setpoint value is reached, this selection willcause that actual value to be totalled in the accumulator register. Theoperator can access that register for viewing at any time by pressingthe DISP ACCUM key.Preact. This allows the setpoint to cut off prior to the original setpointvalue to allow for free fall material to settle onto the scale. The ONsetting adjusts the setpoint value to that original value minus thePREACT VALUE. The LEARN setting adjusts the value the sameway initially, but then adjusts the preact value in the next batch basedupon the accuracy of the current preact operation so as to automaticallycorrect for overfill or underfill.Preact Value. This parameter only appears if PREACT is set to ONor LEARN. The value selected adjusts the trip value of the setpointconfigured with the PREACT parameter.Batch Step Enable. When ON, this setpoint is part of any batchsequence established. If OFF, the setpoint remains a continuouslyrunning setpoint. This option is available only for the setpoint typeswhich can be either continuous or batch setpoints (GROSS SP, NETSP, +REL SP, -REL SP, %REL SP).CHOICESXXXXXX Enter totalwidth of band withkeyboard.XXXXXX Enter valuewith keyboardOFF√ONOFF√ONOFF√ONLEARNXXXXXX Entervalue with keyboardOFF√ONSOURCESource Channel.
