This is a translation of main parts of the Swedish report on goalfulfillment in school for the deaf and hearing impaired.It has been carried out with thanks to Interverbum translation company,Rachel O’Neill at University of Edinburgh, Paul Simson Batod andKarin Angerby former international coordinator and head teacher,Sweden.To give our international readers a short introduction to the SwedishSchool system we have expanded the first part of the report and attachedfive presentation/information chapters produced at the NationalAgency of Education. We recommend new readers to start with thoseinformation parts. SPM also provided education for deaf andhard of hearing pupils with learning disabilities and pupils who were deafblind adaptedto their needs. SPM contained six special schools.
