Various studies confirm that lowlevels of latrine usage are due to lack ofawareness of the importance of sanitation,water scarcity, poor construction standards andthe expensive policy on standardised latrineby government (Arya, Y.B., 2009).Empirical AnalysisMultiple Regression Analysis by usingOrdinary Least Square method has been usedto study the impact of various explanatoryvariables on sanitation facility across districtsin Uttar Pradesh. It examines the impact ofliteracy rate, female literacy rate and per capitaincome on access to sanitation facility.
