Uponsuccessful completion of this course, a student is eligibleto take the State Certification examination to become a certifiedofficer. Students must attend all sessions of trainingand score a minimum of 80 percent on all examinationsper Administrative Rule.SPECIAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS1. Students must obtain authorization from the AcademyDirector prior to registering for all or part of thisprogram.2. Must possess a regular high school diploma or equivalent.3. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License.4. Students must be 19 years of age prior to graduationfrom the Academy.5. Students must be a citizen of the United States ofAmerica.6.
