Reitmaier examines her positionas an artist through her creative production.Thus, her work exists as a by-productof ongoing investigations beyond thepresented photographic image. Born in 1974,Reitmaier studied at The Hochschulefür Gestaltung, Offenbach. Reitmaier hasexhibited at Meyer Kainer, Vienna (2009);Andrew Kreps (2012) and White Columns,New York (2013); and KünstlerhausBethanien, Berlin (2013).Stephen Rhodes’ abstract paintingsand mixed media compositions seek to laybare inconclusive outcomes with regard tothe legitimacy of painting. Rhodes examinesthe process of layering and reductionin his work. With a strong command ofcompositional imagery, he experiments withrelational spaces, simultaneously revealingand concealing hybrid relationships aboveand beneath the picture plane. Born in1987, Rhodes completed a Fine Arts degreeat Oxford University (2009), and postgraduatestudies De Ateliers, Amsterdam(2011). Rhodes has exhibited at De Ateliers,Amsterdam (2011) and will presenthis first exhibition with Galerie CinziaFriedlaender in December 2013 in Berlin.Eric Bell & Kristoffer Frick’s dual practiceis based on interests within the disciplinesof science, technology, design andarchitecture. Their conscious staging ofspace allows for hybrid installationenvironments in a wide range of media.Drawing on openly symbolic and diverselyappropriated materials and images, Bell &Frick evoke collective readings withintheir work. Both born in 1985, they graduatedfrom the Städelschule, Frankfurt (2010),and post-graduate studies De Ateliers,Amsterdam (2012). Their work was exhibitedat Kunstverein, Düsseldorf (2008);Kunstverein, Munich (2012); and StedelijkMuseum, Amsterdam, ‘Beyond Imagination’(2012).
