Extraction for robotic unitsDifferent possibilities to extract thepolluted air with the systems 8000 and9000 are available for the extraction ofrobotic welding stations in the industrialproduction.According to the type and the method ofoperation of the robotic unit the extractionat source with capturing elements ofthe KEMPER standard program can berealised. Or individually designed andmanufactured exhaust hoods come intooperation.The hoods will be mounted above theworkplace and will be connected to acentral extraction and filter system bymeans of a ducting. To reach more flexibility,the exhaust hoods can be built freeswivelling.For the protection against hazardousradiant emissions and spatters the hoodscan be equipped with KEMPER weldingprotection strips.Extraction for robotic cellsBy using robotic cells in closed oropened top design, different options forthe extraction with the KEMPER systems8000 and 9000 are available. Ifthe robotic cell is completely enclosed,the extraction via the provided ductingconnection can be affected.The required extraction capacity dependsto the room volume of the roboticcell. If the cell is opened at the top, it caneither be extracted at the source or bymeans of a hood, which will be installedabove the robotic cell.Depending on the mode of operation thearea above the robot has to stay clearfor loading and unloading the robot by acrane. For this application pneumaticallydriven exhaust hoods come into operation.These hoods can be controlled viathe control of the robot.| 84
