STC DesignEnhancementsSTC DesignEnhancementsSmoother transitions and a softer release sleevelower the STC connect force.The STC connection hasproven its reliability overseveral years of practialapplication in the field.Eaton has now improvedthe ease of assembly ofthe STC connection toimprove installation ease andassembly line throughput.These improvements arerefered to as STC DesignEnhancements.The Eaton STC productline has been enhancedto provide the followingbenefits:1. More forgiving tomisalignment2. Approximately 30%reduction of the averageinline connect force3. Increase of operatingpressure of the -10and -12 sizes to 4,000 psioperating pressure4. Introduction of a newrelease sleeve to allow fordirect porting5.
