Child, Youth & Family <strong>Program</strong>s<br />

WAGON WALK $18/adult, $13/child<br />

(Ages 18 mos.–4)<br />

Stroll <strong>the</strong> boardwalks <strong>of</strong> old-time <strong>Edmonton</strong> with wagons<br />

<strong>in</strong> tow! We’ll visit houses on 1885 street to see farm animals,<br />

sample bak<strong>in</strong>g and make lemonade. Older children will<br />

make and take home a simple craft while parents learn<br />

some <strong>in</strong>terest<strong>in</strong>g facts about our community’s history.<br />

We’ll end our morn<strong>in</strong>g with a horse-drawn wagon ride.<br />

Please br<strong>in</strong>g your wagon! One adult must register and<br />

attend with <strong>the</strong> child.<br />

• $155/party (Jan. 1 – May 18 & Oct. 1 – Dec. 31)<br />

• $199/Party (May 19 – Sep. 30)<br />

Payment is required at <strong>the</strong> time <strong>of</strong> book<strong>in</strong>g<br />

• <strong>Program</strong>s are two hours <strong>in</strong> length<br />

• Parties are <strong>of</strong>fered year ‘round unless o<strong>the</strong>rwise stated.<br />

• Maximum 20 guests/party (<strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g parents & sibl<strong>in</strong>gs).<br />

At least 2 adults must stay with <strong>the</strong> children.<br />

• Birthday Parties with a program component can br<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> a<br />

cake if it was made <strong>in</strong> a commercial kitchen (store bought)<br />

• Small parties can br<strong>in</strong>g small snacks and dr<strong>in</strong>ks (i.e. fruit/<br />

veggie tray, cheese tray, chips and cheezies, pop, water<br />

etc. but cannot br<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> prepared meal (i.e. no pizza,<br />

sandwiches, BBQ’s, crock pots, hot dogs, hamburgers,<br />

chili, Ch<strong>in</strong>ese food etc.)<br />

• Potlucks and all use <strong>of</strong> unauthorized outside cater<strong>in</strong>g is<br />

no longer permitted <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> park. For all prepared meals<br />

you must go with one <strong>of</strong> our authorized caterers (see<br />

website for full list).<br />

FORT EDMONTON PARK IN THE SUMMER<br />

• When Fort <strong>Edmonton</strong> Park is open to <strong>the</strong> public May 19—<br />

September 30, fees <strong>in</strong>clude admission to <strong>the</strong> park.<br />

• To ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> historical experience for all visitors <strong>in</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> Park, you will not be permitted to drive <strong>in</strong>to <strong>the</strong> Park.<br />

Staff will assist with load<strong>in</strong>g and mov<strong>in</strong>g gifts and cake<br />

<strong>in</strong> a hand-pulled wagon.<br />

• Additional guests above <strong>the</strong> maximum number <strong>of</strong> 20,<br />

adults or children, will be required to pay applicable<br />

admission costs and will not be able to participate<br />

<strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> program activities.<br />

PRE-SCHOOL PIONEER PARTY (Ages 4-5)<br />

Children will love to try on old-fashioned costumes and<br />

play party games <strong>of</strong> yesterday! They’ll bake some cookies,<br />

make a simple toy, and try <strong>the</strong>ir hand at chores such as<br />

wash<strong>in</strong>g clo<strong>the</strong>s.<br />

PIONEER BIRTHDAY PARTY (Ages 6–12)<br />

Your child’s birthday party will go down <strong>in</strong> history with<br />

a party that takes you back over 100 years! Celebrate<br />

with homemade bak<strong>in</strong>g, pioneer activities and oldfashioned<br />

games.<br />
