Effluent parameters that changed by morethan 1.0 mg/L included TP, COD, and filtered COD. The TP concentration increased by 2.0 mg/L for thecalibrated settings, most likely due to the differences in RBCOD fractions. For the regular mode,conditions are not favorable for PAOs. Therefore, the effect of increased RBCOD has no impact onphosphorus uptake by PAOs.
