5 Terminal Session: Wednesdayrate TUTORIAL.PCF BPE.${U}/PCF.The process control file (PCF) is located in the directoryThe PCF consists of three parts: the first part defines the scripts and the option directorieswhere the program’s input files are taken from. In addition the waiting conditions aredefined to keep the correct order for the execution of the scripts. In the second part, special execution modes are defined, e.g., that the scripts GNSQIF_P with PID 132 andGNSL12_P with PID 142 may run in parallel for each individual baseline. The preparatoryscripts GNSQIFAP and GNSL12AP define the list of baselines to be processed. The third partdefines the so called BPE– or PCF–variables that can be used within the scripts or in theinput fields of the menu. A detailed introduction to the BPE will be the topic of a lectureon Friday. The TUTORIAL.PCF is responsible for the following tasks:011 TUT_COP :Copies the files from the previous processing steps of the tutorial to the filenamesused in the RNX2SNX.PCF example BPE. It uses the PCF– and time variables forthat purpose:copy file from ../STA/APR${yyddd}.CRD to ../STA/APR${yyssss}.CRDcopy file from ../STA/FLT${yyddd}.CRD to ../STA/FLT${yyssss}.CRDcopy file from ../ATM/FLT${yyddd}.TRP to ../ATM/FLT${yyssss}.TRPcopy file from ../ORB/COD${yyddd}.STD to ../ORB/COD${yyssss}.STDcopy file from ../ORB/COD${yyddd}.ERP to ../ORB/COD${yyssss}.ERPwhere ${yyddd} stands for the two–digit year and the day of year. The new filenamecontains ${yyssss} the two–digit year together with the session (in our case day ofyear plus the zero–character 0).If you are not in the <strong>Bernese</strong> Introductory Course environment, you have to copythese files manually to run the ambiguity resolution sequence of RNX2SNX.PCF.101 SATMRK :All previously resolved ambiguities are re–initialized to start for all files from unresolvedambiguities (otherwise the interpretation of the statistic of resolved ambiguitiesmay becomes difficult).131 GNSQIFAP and 132 GNSQIF_P :Applies the QIF ambiguity resolution strategy to all baselines of the example in abaseline–by–baseline mode, where several baselines may be processed at the sametime in parallel.141 GNSL12AP and 142 GNSL12_P :Applies the SIGMA ambiguity resolution strategy directly to the original observationson the L 1 and L 2 frequency for both short baselines in the example network:Kötzting (WTZR and WTZZ) and Zimmerwald (ZIM2 and ZIMM). These scriptsalso run in a baseline–by–baseline mode, allowing for a parallel processing. In the <strong>Bernese</strong> Introductory Course environment the TUTORIAL.PCF BPE can bestarted for one session (e.g., day 207 of year 2010) using "Menu>BPE>Start BPE processing":Page 68AIUB
