Volkel Air Base, the Netherlands (July 20, 1999): The base is located <strong>in</strong> the southeastern parts of the<br />
Netherlands (51º39’N, 05º43’E). There are 32 Protective Air Shelters (PAS) on the base, 11 of which are<br />
equipped with WS3 <strong>Weapons</strong> Storage Vaults for nuclear weapons storage with a capacity of 44. The vaults<br />
were completed <strong>in</strong> 1991. Twenty B61 bombs are stored at the base for delivery by Dutch F-16A/Bs of the<br />
