WARRANTYGME ELECTROPHONE limit this warranty tothe original purchaser of the equipment.GME ELECTROPHONE warrant this product tobe free from defects in material andworkmanship for a period of twelve (12) monthsfrom the date of purchase from their authoriseddealer.Should the product require servicing during thisperiod, all labour and parts used to effectrepairs will be supplied free of charge. GMEELECTROPHONE reserve the right todetermine whether damage has beenoccasioned by accident, misuse or improperinstallation whereby the warranty would be void,including:Transceivers which have been damaged due to:(a) Incorrect or reverse polarity connection to abattery or power supply;(b) Connection to incorrect supply voltage.(c) Operation without an antenna or byconnection to an antenna which has beenincorrectly installed, resulting in damage tothe transceiver’s output transistors.(d) Effects of water or moisture penetration.(e) Non-factory modifications.Procedure to be followed by claimant: In theevent of a defect occurring during the twelve(12) month warranty period, the originalPurchaser may return the defective unit alongwith suitable proof of purchase date (i.e. receipt,docket, credit card slip etc.) and a fulldescription of the defect to the Dealer fromwhom the unit was purchased.All freight charges incurred for transportation bythe Dealer or GME ELECTROPHONE are thePurchaser’s responsibility.The Dealer will forward it to the closestauthorised GME ELECTROPHONE ServiceDepot in your particular State.*GME ELECTROPHONE AFTER SALES SERVICEYour ELECTROPHONE transceiver is especially designed for the environment encountered indomestic or mobile installations. The use of all solid state circuitry, careful design and rigoroustesting, result in high reliability.
