GENERAL DESCRIPTIONThe GME Electrophone TX6000 UHF portabletransceiver has been wholly designed andmanufactured in Australia by StandardCommunications Pty. Ltd. to exceed all therequirements of the UHF CB service, whilewithstanding the forces of the harsh Australianand New Zealand environments.The TX6000 incorporates the very latest inCAD/CAM (computer aided design, computeraided manufacturing) techniques to produce acompact portable UHF CB transceiver withoutstanding specifications and performance.The new TX6000 incorporates amongst otherthings a liquid crystal display, fullyprogrammable scanning and a number ofinnovative signalling features including a fullyuser programmable Selcall system.
