[1827.adioinins, having been for some lime disused, had fallen to decay.As none <strong>of</strong> the society remained in the city, the monthlymeeting determined to remove the bones <strong>of</strong> the dead, and sethe land. <strong>The</strong> disinterment commenced on the twenty-eighth<strong>of</strong> June, and was finished on the sixth July. <strong>The</strong> remains <strong>of</strong>one hundred and eleven persons were taken up; <strong>of</strong> whomseventy-two were adults, and thirty -nme youth. <strong>The</strong> relics <strong>of</strong>one hundred and nine were put into six boxes, and conveyedto <strong>Lynn</strong>, and placed in the Quaker burial ground. Mr. JosephHussey. who had two sisters buried m Boston, was unwillingthat they should be removed with the rest, and causedtheir remains, so dear to his memory, to be deposited in thecemetery <strong>of</strong> King's Chapel.A Society foi the promotion <strong>of</strong> Industry, frngality, andTemperance, was organized on the twentieth <strong>of</strong> December.1827.Mr. Micaiah Collins died on the thirtieth <strong>of</strong> January, at theage <strong>of</strong> 62 years. He was born on the nineteenth <strong>of</strong> April,1764, married Hannah Chase <strong>of</strong> Salem, and left no children.He was, for nearly thirty years, a useful and respected schoomaster,andwas much beloved by the pupils ^^h°.^«^f^| "^instruclions.
