<strong>CCM</strong> Applicant <strong>Handbook</strong>Certified Construction ManagerCMCIProfessional Testing Centers and LocationsCMCI exams are administered through the professional testingcompany Kryterion, which provides state‐of‐the‐art testingcenters and services in the United States and internationally. All<strong>CCM</strong> exams are computer‐based tests (CBTs). Kryterion testingcenters incorporate state‐of‐the‐art security and professionallydesigned testing environments.Note: The physical addresses of all Kryterion testing centers are available at:http://www.kryteriononline.com/host_locations.Applicants are strongly encouraged to make sure they know the exact location and physicallytravel to the exam site prior to the exam date to prevent getting lost and arriving late. Inaddition, it is strongly recommended that extra time be allowed in the event of unforeseencircumstances such as a traffic delay, flat tire and weather conditions. Plan your trip to arrive atleast 30 minutes before your appointment. No‐shows or late arrivals (which are considered noshows)will NOT be admitted and will result in an additional fee and a requirement to rescheduleas described under No‐Shows or Late‐for‐Appointment.Exam Appointment Scheduling and Rescheduling ProcessA candidate’s approval information is sent from CMCI to Kryterion at the time the eligibilityapproval email is sent to the candidate. The candidate will then contact CMCI with three datesthat are acceptable for the candidate to take the examination. Candidates who are approved fortesting have a one year window from the date they were notified the Board of Governors hasapproved their application.To change the original exam center appointment, or to postpone or reschedule the testingappointment date or time, the candidate must contact CMCI. Candidates must reschedule orpostpone exam appointments no later than 72 hours prior to the testing appointment to avoidadditional fees.No‐Shows or Late‐for‐Appointment PoliciesCandidates who are late or do not arrive for the testing appointment, or who do not cancel orreschedule their testing appointment as described in the Request to Test section, will be requiredto re‐apply and re‐schedule the testing appointment through CMCI. Candidates must completeand submit a reinstatement application along with the reinstatement fee payments to CMCI,which fee includes the testing center seat fee.Certain extenuating circumstances may be appealed to the Director of Certification at CMCI.Examples include disaster resulting in an officially declared ʺlocal state of emergency,ʺ death ofan immediate family member within 14 calendar days prior to the exam date (copy of deathcertificate or obituary must be provided for consideration of the cancellation and rescheduling feeto be waived), or sudden illness or injury.
