CCM Applicant HandbookCertified Construction ManagerCMCIAuditing of ApplicationsThe Board of Governors audit all applications to verify the applicant’s eligibility to take the examwith a minimum of two references supplied with the application. If a candidate does not supplytwo references, or does not provide the required documentation within the given time frame, heor she may be declared ineligible.Board of Governors Statement of Non‐DiscriminationThe CCM certification program does not discriminate among applicants on the basis of age,gender, race, religion, national origin, disability, marital status or sexual orientation.ConfidentialityThe Board of Governors and CMCI adheres to required best practices utilizing strict guidelines asregards confidentiality of candidates, certificants, score results, and all certification relatedmaterials not otherwise deemed public information. All board, committee, panel and task forcechairs, and members are required to sign a confidentiality agreement. CMCI staff and testingservicestaff assigned to the CMCI account are also required to sign a confidentiality agreement.Information about candidates and their exam results is confidential. Studies and reportsconcerning candidates will contain no information identifiable with any candidate, unlessauthorized by the candidate.All personal data including applications, payments, scores, and contact information maintainedby CMCI or CMCI testing partners are stored in confidential electronic and hard copy files withaccess limited to authorized and designated staff.Special Accommodations for ExamsThe Board of Governors complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and isinterested in ensuring that no individual is deprived of the opportunity to take the exam solelyby reason of a disability as defined under the ADA.There are two forms required: Request for CMCI CCM Exam Special Accommodations, and CMCICCM Exam, Healthcare Documentation of Disability Related Needs. Applicants requiring specialaccommodations must complete both forms and submit them with their application informationto the CMCI Certification Office no later than 45 days prior to the desired exam date.
