<strong>CCM</strong> Applicant <strong>Handbook</strong>Certified Construction ManagerCMCIDISCLAIMERConstruction Managers certified by the Construction Managers Certification Institute (CMCI)have met the standards for the <strong>CCM</strong> designation. Prior to granting the <strong>CCM</strong> designation, theCMCI Board of Governors reviews references and experience furnished by the applicants.Applicants must pass a comprehensive examination.Successful achievement of a passing score on the <strong>CCM</strong> exam is required for an individual to earnthe certification. Each candidate must demonstrate competence in the <strong>CMAA</strong> Standards ofPractice to commensurate with the experience requirements established by the CMCI Board ofGovernors. In addition, all candidates and <strong>CCM</strong> certification holders are required to abide by the<strong>CCM</strong> Code of Ethics and Conduct.<strong>CCM</strong>s are not employees of Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI) or theConstruction Management Association of America (<strong>CMAA</strong>).
