hand-coloured engraved map, 350 x 555mm, central
vertical fold, damp-staining at lower corners, some
surface dirt, c.1694; with a mixed group of maps of
Greece, including Athens, by or after Elizabeth Stuart,
Montigny, Cepparuli, Chatelain, and others, engarvings,
some hand-coloured, v.s., some spotting and browning,

fortified towns, and harbours, each bearing a date
between 1685 and 1687, decorated title cartouche,
lower left, including dedication note stating that the
map was prepared from Intelligence gathered from the
Venetians and Ottoman Turks, engraving, with outline
hand-colouring, 415 x 515mm., sheet 540 x 765mm.,
central vertical fold, even browning, minor spotting,
small areas of dampstaining, manuscript ammendment
