Events Strategy - Devonport City Council

Provide an opportunity for Council Officers to regularly liaise, be informed about varying requests and demands onCouncil’s resources and stay abreast of new legislative developments. It is hoped that this will avoid over servicing,duplication and possible misunderstandings by both Council Officers and members of the Community.Membership of the advisory unit is made up of two core groups A and B. Core Group A is represented by Council’s Event Manager,Infrastructure Maintenance Manager and Team Leader, Risk Manager and Environmental Health Officer. In addition, members fromCore Group B will attend meetings at various times depending on the nature of the event,issues for consideration or expertise required.
