It is hoped that this will avoid over servicing, duplication and possible misunderstandings by both Council Officers and members of the Community.Membership of the advisory unit is made up of two core groups A and B. Core Group A is represented by Council’s Event Manager,Infrastructure Maintenance Manager and Team Leader, Risk Manager and Environmental Health Officer. In addition, members fromCore Group B will attend meetings at various times depending on the nature of the event, issues for consideration or expertise required. Itis proposed that Core Group A meet monthly and Core Group B when appropriate to convene.Interdepartmental Events Reference GroupEvent ManagerInfrastructure Maintenance Manager and/or Team LeaderRisk ManagerEnvironmental Health OfficerCore Group BFinance OfficerManager Corporate & orCommunity ServicesEngineering staffBuilding OfficerCommunity Programs OfficerCommunity Services OfficerYouth Development OfficerEvent Coordinator/Media LiaisonTourism CoordinatorDevonport City Promotions21
