A Return to the HillAlumni Weekend 2006We had nearly 300 guests on campus during Alumni Weekend June 23-25, and we lookforward to your return to the hill next year for another wonderful celebration. From theblock party barbecue to the golf outing, from the 5th Annual Antique Car Show to theNew England Clam Bake, from old friends to three very deserving award recipients, wehope it was a memorable weekend for all involved. There was lots of reminiscing,catching up and reliving of old memories.Many alumni attended the block party barbecue on the Quad onFriday night for good food, good music and good conversation.(top) The class of ’76 had the biggest showing at Alumni Weekend.(bottom) Kirsten McKerley ’96, Katy (Grow) Heider ’96, Jennifer Havey ’01and Sarah Barrett ’96. The achievements of severalalumni were recognized. RobertBean ’69 (right with Ginger Love ’88)was named Alumnus of the Year.Reginald Ridgely ’51 (bottom rightwith Ken Hollingsworth) was inductedinto the Athletic Hall of Fame. HaroldBailey ’66 (bottom left with Head ofSchool Jim Clements) received theGeorge L. Plimpton Award for hiscontributions to the community.Several alumni joined Head of School Jim Clements and facultymembers Robb Johnson and Deirdre Jordan at Lochmere CountryClub for a game of golf Saturday morning.Lobster and clam chowder were on the menu at the Clam BakeDinner Saturday night.
