My family has returned to NH after 18months in San Diego, due to my husband’sjob, and we couldn’t be happier! A story about this appeared in theCaledonian (St. Johnsbury, VT). It is quite astory because she is 29 years old and hasn’traced since she was at <strong>Tilton</strong>. She was not onthe U.S. team, but the coach saw her skiingand told her he thought that she was probablythe fastest woman in the United Statesand maybe the fastest in the world. Heencouraged her to sign up for the World Cupraces and National Championship. She beatevery woman on the U.S. team in every raceshe entered and finished <strong>of</strong>f the season bywinning all three U.S. Championship racesand was named overall U.S. Champion. Shewill go to Europe in January 2007 to race inthe World Cup events and hopes to be able torepresent the United States at the 2010Olympics, where telemark skiing will be ademonstration sport. Of course, she would beinterested in finding people who like to helpworld-class athletes!Kelsey Schmid-Sommer ’94.95Andrew Warren writes, “Hi all. It’s been awhile since I have sent in a note or evencommunicated with any <strong>of</strong> you. I am still inSan Francisco (four years now) and workingfor a music marketing company calledJamBase.com. I have been here for fouryears and currently run the InformationDepartment. Life is good; I ran the Dublin,Ireland, Marathon last October and amcurrently training for the 2006 SFMarathon as well as the 2006 HonoluluMarathon. After that it’s on to the 2007Boston run; then I think I will take a break.Let’s see, other than that, I am just working,loving SF and running.
