Co-operation betweenthe University and the Industry has been developed andthe national and international network has been widened. In my opinion, charmec has further establisheditself, nationally and internationally, as a supplier of firstrateresearch, as a knowledgeable partner for dialogue,as an important information hub, and as a competentnetwork builder. I look forward to the Centre’s Stage 4with confidence.Since Railway Mechanics will continue to be a keyarea for the development of sustainable ground transportation,it is of great importance that the continuedexistence and stability of charmec can be secured evenafter Stage 4.Gothenburg in December 2003roger lundén79
