Caulfield played aneven game throughout, but in the lastquarter proved to be too strong andscored seven goals. This cl inched thegame, the final score being 14 goals to7 goals. Caulfield's best p layers wereDal y, Gunn and Brov ington .54In the second game, Caulfield repeatedthe performance defeating Oakleigh14 goals to 2. Caulfield's best inthe match were Gunn, Daly and Shearn.With two good win s Caulfield wereperhaps rather over conf ide nt and theth ird match ogainsf He idelberg, a newteam to the competition , gave them abit of tr ouble.
