2.7 ELECTRONIC MODULES2.7.1 Overload Ground Fault Module (OGF)2.8 OPTIONS2.8.1 Light BarThe Light Bar is an external set of indicator lights whichcan be seen in the mirror from the cab of the tractor.They are controlled by the microprocessor. The greenLED indicates “STATUS OK”. The amber LED indicates“CHECK UNIT”. Amber follows the microprocessor faultlight and alarms can be read on the micro display.Figure 2-9.OGF ModuleThe OGF is located in the control box on the relay panelassembly. The module has two electrical safety featuresin diesel and standby modes:1. Overload protection function -- Overload break current= 40A2. Ground leakage current protection -- ground leakagebreak current -- 150mAFor each case, A100 “OVERLOAD GROUND FAULT”is activated and the unit shuts down.In case of ground leakage detection, the red LED on theOGF module will be on continuously.2.7.2 Phase Reversal Module (PRM)Figure 2-10.PRM Phase Reversal ModuleThe PRM phase reversal module is located in thecontrol box on the standby panel assembly.In standby mode, the phase reversal module checks theelectrical phase and reverses if necessary.2.8.2 Door Switch(es)A two compartment unit has provisions to connect aDoor Switch (DS) directly to the microprocessor. (Thisprovision is not available for three compartment units.)The microprocessor will recognize switches withcontacts that are either open when the door is open, orthat are closed when the door is open. Additionally, theConfiguration List gives you the ability to determinewhether the switch will: enable the alarm only, enablethe alarm and also shut the unit down, enable the alarmand put the unit into low speed while the door is open, orto have no alarm and only record door openings &closings in the data recorder.If the Door Switch is configured to shut the unit downwhen the door is open, the unit will shut down for aminimum of 3 minutes. Additionally, there is an OverrideDoor Switch in the functional parameters (Refer toFunctional Parameter List, Section 3.17.) When thisparameter is set to YES, the Door Switch Alarm willcome on when the door is open. However, the unit willnot shut down. This feature is included in the event of adoor switch failure.For both two and three compartment units a separateprovision is available. Individual door switches for eachcompartment can be wired directly into the remotecompartment ON/OFF switch. This will allow the doorswitch to shut down a compartment when the door isopened. The Data Recorder will record this in the samemanner as if the compartment ON/OFF switch wasused to turn the compartment off.62-110392--18
