This isdone by multiplying the map distance by 100. In our example:MD = .02 mMD = .02 x 100MD = 2 cmTherefore, the spacing between the grid lines (grid interval plotting size) of the grid to be constructedwill be 2 centimeters. This is the precise distance the grid lines will be drawn in Lesson 2.6
