Wood Products<br />
<strong>Stora</strong> <strong>Enso</strong> Timber is an international<br />
wood products company that supplies<br />
product and service solutions to wood<br />
product industries and the trade worldwide.<br />
<strong>Stora</strong> <strong>Enso</strong> Timber has annual net<br />
sales of EUR 1 588.3 million, and an<br />
annual production capacity of 7.7 million<br />
m3 of sawn wood products, including<br />
3.3 million m3 of value-added products.<br />
The company employs about 5 000<br />
people at 27 production sites, of which<br />
21 manufacture value-added products, in<br />
10 European countries and sales and distribution<br />
companies around the world.<br />
<strong>Stora</strong> <strong>Enso</strong> Timber focuses on masscustomised,<br />
value-added products for<br />
industrial end-uses. These include gluelaminated,<br />
stress-graded, and fi ngerjointed<br />
products and components for<br />
the construction and joinery industries.<br />
A wide range of sawn and processed<br />
wood products is supplied to timber<br />
retailers, merchants, and importerdistributors.<br />
Wood Supply<br />
Wood Supply is responsible for <strong>Stora</strong><br />
<strong>Enso</strong>’s global wood fi bre strategy and<br />

wood raw material sustainability issues.<br />
The unit manages the wood deliveries to<br />
<strong>Stora</strong> <strong>Enso</strong>’s mills in Europe and facilitates<br />
co-operation between the Group’s<br />
wood supply units. Wood Supply consists<br />
of fi ve business units: Baltic, Continental<br />
Europe, Finland, Russia, and Sweden.<br />
