The board is designed using primarily SMT (SurfaceMount Technology) parts.The CPU <strong>II</strong> contains two 80386EX33 microprocessors that separately perform the Vitalprocessing and high-speed communications functions.The CPU <strong>II</strong> board controls the System bus over which the CPU <strong>II</strong>, VRD, CSEX, VSCand IOB boards communicate.Figure 4-2.
