<strong>Student</strong>s who do not submit all of <strong>the</strong> materials necessary for admission and/or registration will bedropped to audit status six weeks into <strong>the</strong> semester. No refund of tuition or o<strong>the</strong>r related fees will begiven.HEALTH INSURANCEEvery student on <strong>the</strong> St. Louis campus must have medical insurance for <strong>the</strong> student and all familymembers. <strong>Student</strong>s must certify that <strong>the</strong>y have coverage to complete financial registration. If studentsdo not have medical insurance at <strong>the</strong> time of registration, <strong>the</strong>y will be required to certify that <strong>the</strong>y willget that insurance as soon as possible. Because it often takes more than six weeks to obtain proof ofcoverage, students should make arrangements accordingly.It is vital that <strong>Student</strong> Life be informed promptly of any serious illness, accident, or o<strong>the</strong>r emergency.Missouri Baptist and St. John’s Mercy hospitals provide readily accessible medical assistance in <strong>the</strong>iremergency rooms and clinics.IMMUNIZATIONThe <strong>Seminary</strong> encourages all students to receive regular tuberculosis (TB) screenings. In accordance withrecommendations from <strong>the</strong> American Lung Association, <strong>the</strong> Public Health Service, and <strong>the</strong> Centers forDisease Control, students in high risk groups (international students from Asia, Africa, or LatinAmerica, or any student exposed to TB due to vocation, locale, or living arrangement) and <strong>the</strong>ir familiesare required to be tested for TB prior to registration for <strong>the</strong>ir first semester. Those who test positive forTB must receive chest x-rays and any preventive treatment prescribed by <strong>the</strong> physician. All studentsrequired to have an initial test may be required to have an annual follow-up interview with <strong>the</strong>International <strong>Student</strong> Advisor. In this interview <strong>the</strong> student will sign a form certifying that he or she isfree of TB symptoms. All test results must be received prior to fall registration in order for <strong>the</strong> student toregister.DEFERRED BILLINGAll prior balances must be cleared before <strong>the</strong> student may use <strong>the</strong> deferred payment option. If a student isunable to pay <strong>the</strong> full amount due at <strong>the</strong> time of registration, deferred payment may be requested. Thestudent pays at registration at least 25 percent of <strong>the</strong> balance of tuition and fees after financial aid has[22]
