It is provided through<strong>the</strong> <strong>Student</strong> <strong>Handbook</strong>, <strong>the</strong> Financial Aid packet, booklets or flyers from <strong>the</strong> Department of Education,<strong>the</strong> Admissions office and One-Stop. If you have questions regarding any of <strong>the</strong> information or where itmay be found, contact One-Stop.1. What need-based and non-need-based federal financial aid, state and local aid programs, schoolaid programs, and private aid programs are available to students.2. How a student applies for aid, how eligibility is determined, and how <strong>the</strong> school distributes aid to<strong>the</strong> student.3. Rights and responsibilities of students receiving aid.4. Terms and conditions of any employment that is part of <strong>the</strong> financial aid package.5. The terms of, schedules for, and necessity of loan repayment and <strong>the</strong> required loan entrance andexit counseling.6. The criteria for measuring satisfactory academic progress, and how a student who has failed tomaintain satisfactory progress may re-establish eligibility for federal financial aid.7. For each student chosen for verification, <strong>the</strong> deadlines and consequences of failure to complywith <strong>the</strong> request.8. Information on <strong>the</strong> prevention of drug and alcohol abuse and <strong>the</strong> school’s policies and disciplineprocedures.9. The return of federal funds policy and <strong>the</strong> order of SFA refund distribution.10. The right to defer Federal Loans if classified as at least a half-time student.[75]
