According to itsinternational standard, a cable is laid horizontally over a burnerfor three hours. The temperature is set at 800 °C. The circuitintegrity is designated with FE (e.g. FE180 = circuit integrity of180 min): BETAflam® FE180 / E30Test proceduresThe sample is fastened at definited distances above the burner.The conductor is connected to a power source at nominal voltagevia an 2 A fuse.
