Hizb Tawheed Wal-Qitaalٱقْتَرَفْتُمُوىَا وَتِجَارَةٌ‏ تَخْ‏ ْ شَو نَ‏ كَسَادَىَا وَمَسَاكِنُ‏ ْ تَرْضَو نَيَآ أَحَبَّ‏ إِلَيْكُمْ‏ مِّنَ‏ ٱلمَّوِ‏وَرَسُولِوِ‏ وَجِيَادٍ‏ فِى سَبِيمِوِ‏ فَتَرَبَّصُواْ‏ حَتَّىٰ‏ يَأْتِىَ‏ ٱلمَّوُ‏ بِأَمْرِهِ‏ وَٱلمَّوُ‏ الَ‏ يَيْدِىْ ٱلْقَو مَ‏ ٱلْفَاسِ‏ قِينَ‏“O ye who believe! Take not for protectors your fathers and yourbrothers if they love infidelity above Faith: if any of you do so,they do wrong. Say: If it be that your fathers, your sons, yourbrothers, your mates, or your kindred…” (At-Tauba: 23-24)And also;ْ أَو لِيَآءَ‏ بَعْضُيُمْ‏ ْ أَو لِيَآءُ‏ بَعْضٍ‏يَ أَيُّيَا ٱلَّذِينَ‏ آمَنُواْ‏ الَ‏ تَتَّخِذُواْ‏ ٱلْيَيُودَ‏ وَٱلنَّصَارَىٰ‏وَمَن يَتَوَلَّيُمْ‏ْ ٱلْقَو مَ‏ ٱلظَّالِمِي ‏َنمِّنكُمْ‏ فَإِنَّوُ‏ مِنْيُمْ‏ إِنَّ‏ ٱلمَّوَ‏ الَ‏ يَيْدِى“O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians asAwliya'(friends, protectors), they are but Awliya' to one another.And if any amongst you takes them as Awliya', then surely he isone of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are theZaalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers)” (Al-Ma‟idah:51)As ‗Abdullah bin ‗Umar, may Allāh (SWT) be pleased with bothof them, said: ―By Allah, if I fasted all day without eating, prayed allnight without sleeping, spent all of my wealth in the Path of Allah, diedthe day I died, but had no love in my heart for those who obey Allah,and no hatred in my heart for those who disobey Allah, none of thiswould benefit me in the least.‖ And al-Ghazzali said, commentingon the saying of the Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wa ssalam): “Thestrongest bond of faith is the love for the sake of Allāh and tohatred for the sake of Allāh”: ―Because of this, it is a must that aperson have those that he hates for Allah‘s Sake, just as he has friendsand brothers that he loves for Allah‘s Sake.‖c. Tawakkul & Yaqeen. And He (SWT) praised the Sahābah with thisgreat feature which they, may Allāh (SWT) be pleased with themall, displayed during the siege of Al-Ahzāb (Battle of the Trench),saying thus;وَلَمَّا رَأَى الْمُؤْمِنُونَ‏ األْ‏ ‏َحْزَابَ‏ قَالُوا ىَذَا مَا وَعَدَنَا المَّوُ‏ وَرَسُولُوُ‏ وَصَدَقَ‏ المَّوُ‏وَرَسُولُوُ‏ وَمَا زَادَىُمْ‏ إِالَّ‏ إِيمَانًا وَتَسْمِيمًا مِنَ‏ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ‏ رِجَالٌ‏ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاىَدُواالمَّوَ‏ عَمَيْوِ‏ فَمِنْيُمْ‏ مَنْ‏ قَضَى نَحْ‏ بَوُ‏ وَمِنْيُمْ‏ مَنْ‏ يَنْتَظِرُ‏ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيالً‏The Compilation Of Security And Intelligence Principles Page 28
