Hizb Tawheed Wal-Qitaalleaves that which does not concern him.” 33 Also Narrated AbuMusa (may Allāh be pleased with him): “A man came to theProphet and asked, "A man fights for war booty; another fightsfor fame and a third fights for showing off; which of them fightsin Allāh's Cause?" The Prophet said, "He who fights that Allāh'sWord (i.e. Islam) should be superior, fights in Allāh's Cause." 346) Another common disease among the Mujāhidīn is talking abouttheir work, personal secrets or those of their fellow Mujāhidīn or thejihadi groups with their wives and close friends who are not evenhis partners in his jihadi work. Many Mujāhidīn have experiencednumerous disasters like being captured or martyred as a result ofsuch grave blunders. For instance, the mujāhid may be on the runand, Alhamdulillah, he manages to escape, or he is arrested butmanages to keep his secrets undercover as well as being extremelypatient with the torture. Unfortunately, the intelligence agenciesmanage to get all that he has refused to reveal by interrogating hiswife or close friends (those who are not connected to jihadi work)who cannot handle such troubles or be patient with such hardships.And all this is because he failed or was negligent as regards hidinghis jihadi work. This matter is haram about which Allāh (SWT) gavea very serious warning, saying thus;وَا ‏ِذَا جَآءَىُمْ‏ أَمْرٌ‏ مِّنَ‏ ٱألَمْنِ‏ أَوِ‏ ٱلْخَوْفِ‏ أَذَاعُواْ‏ بِوِ‏ وَلَوْ‏ رَدُّوهُ‏ إِلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ‏ وَا ‏ِلَ‏ ‏ٰىأُوْ‏ لِى ٱألَمْرِ‏ مِنْيُمْ‏ لَعَمِمَوُ‏ ٱلَّذِينَ‏ يَسْتَنْبِطُونَوُ‏ مِنْيُمْ‏ وَلَوْالَ‏ فَضْ‏ لُ‏ ٱلمَّوِ‏ عَمَيْكُمْ‏ وَرَحْ‏ مَتُوُ‏الَتَّبَعْتُمُ‏ ٱلشَّيْطَانَ‏ إِ‏الَّ‏ قَمِيالً‏“When there comes to them some matter touching [Public] safety orfear, they divulge it. If they had only referred it to the Messenger, orto those charged with authority among them, the properinvestigators would have tested it from them [direct]. Were it notfor the Grace and Mercy of Allāh unto you, all but a few of youwould have fallen into the clutches of Satan.” (An-Nisa: 83)NB: The mujāhid stands accountable to Allāh (SWT) concerning hisabove mentioned actions. And this matter also falls under thehadith mentioned in the previous (point No. 5). It also warnsagainst giving information to one or those whom it does notconcern.
