A freeshuttle bus to the event will depart fromand return to the Campgrounds, Gate 1and Gate 5 starting at 5 p.m.<strong>The</strong> Peoples Choice, a nine-pieceband, which includes a four-piece hornsection, from Wausau, Wis., will performpopular music from the 1950s, 1960sand 1970s. <strong>The</strong> band’s extensive playlistranges from Steppenwolf’s “Born ToBe Wild,” <strong>The</strong> Buckinghams’ “Don’tYou <strong>Car</strong>e,” and Booker T & <strong>The</strong> MGs’“Green Onions” to Wild Cherry’s “PlayThat Funky Music,” among many others.<strong>The</strong> Peoples Choices roots go backto the late 1960s, forming at the Universityof Wisconsin-Stevens Point, withmembers from two other bands -- <strong>The</strong>Chosen Few and <strong>The</strong> Horde.In 2002, several of the original membersre-united, and, with a couple ofnew faces, played at a Rock and RollReunion Concert in Central Wisconsin.A portable dance floor, courtesy ofthe Waupaca Ale House, will be availablefor those who want to get up anddance. <strong>The</strong> music starts at 6 pm andends about 8:30. <strong>The</strong> event is beingheld in the parking lot of the strip mallon N.
