Iola Old Car Show information basicsWhere to get information:During the show, an informationbooth is located in the Tower.Prior to and after the show, informationis available from the Iola OldCar Show office, located at 100 N.Main St., P.O. Box 1, Iola, WI 54945.The telephone number at all times is(715) 445- 4000.Information regarding the VintageMilitary and Gun Show can also be obtainedfrom these locations. This directoryis full of information on the IolaOld Car Show. It has maps of the area,locations of the many featured exhibitareas, listing of pre-registered vendorsand their locations, listing of pre-registeredcars in the Car Corral, wherethe food service areas are located, andmuch more.The directory is made available toyou free of charge courtesy of the advertisers.Please use this directory tohelp you enjoy the show.Traffi c:Routes to parking lots: Generally,traffic from the south traveling Hwy. 49will be parked in part of the lot called“Lincoln” (a.k.a. lot No. 3), and “Olds”(lot No. 4). Traffic from the north andwest will be routed down Aanstad Rd.to Hwy. 161 and Keatings Lake Rd. topart of lot No. 1, “Nash,” and lot No. 2,“Ford.” This traffic will exit out to OlsonRd. Traffic from the east on Hwy. 161will be routed to Wesley and Olson roadand use either lot No. 8, “Mercury,” orlot No. 6, “Packard.” The area map inthis directory will also be useful in helpingyou with your entry and exit routes.Tractor shuttle:Tractor shuttle runs from campgroundto car corral and unloads nearGate #16. Tractor shuttles also operatefrom the spectator parking lots to Gate#1 and Gate #8. Operation time is 6a.m. to 8 p.m. or as warranted.Bus Shuttle:The bus shuttle service operates fromone end of the show grounds to the other.The bus will stop near Gate #1 andload or discharge passengers. The secondpoint will be in the vicinity northeastof Krause Publications building onthe blacktop. Signs will be posted. Thisroute operate continuously on County8First Aid/Emergency:Emergency medical service is availableat facilities near gate No. 3, wherethe ambulance is located and canbe dispatched to other areas of thegrounds. If a medical emergency arises,contact a security officer or go toeither a food stand, registration building,gate or an old car show attendantand they will contact the emergencymedical service.Hwy J Thursday 8 a.m. - 7 p.m., Friday6 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturday 6 a.m.- 7p.m., Sunday 7 a.m. - 4 p.m.Art on the Track Bus Shuttle:Saturday Only 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.Art on the track bus will pick up oroff at the blacktopped area at the northeastcorner of the Krause Publicationsbuilding and will pick up or drop off atArt on the Track.Van Shuttle:Vans operate from Gate #5 Saturdayand Sunday to Central County Airport-$5 fee for round tripGate information:No. 1—Spectator Entrance fromparking lotsNo. 2—Ford and No. 3—Lincoln.Gate No. 2—Swap meet entrance. GateNo. 3—Postwar show cars and Old CarYoung Driver. Gate No. 4—Special exhibit,Blue Ribbon cars, all original andprewar vehicles. Gate No. 5—Handicap,press parking and modified carsand trucks. Gate No. 6—Swap meetexit. Gate No. 7—Spectator entrance.Gate No. 8—Spectator entrance, shuttledrop-off and pick-up point. GateNo. 10- Swap meet exit late Saturdayand Sunday. Gate No. 13—Spectatorentrance Gate No. 14—SpectatorEntrance. Gate No. 15—Spectatorentrance. Gate No. 18—Car corral entrance.Gate No. 18—Vendor, trailer,overnight parking. Gate No. 21—Spectatorparking exit. Gate No. 22—Spectatorparking entrance or exit. Remember—youmust have a daily or seasonwrist band to enter the grounds.Handicap parking:Parking for the handicapped is locatedeast of the entrance to gate No.5 and in the area of gate No. 1. Thesevehicles must have an official handicaplicense. Handicapped persons ridingin a vehicle without a handicap permitcan be dropped off in the vicinity of thehandicapped parking area and then thedriver should proceed to one of the regularparking areas.Handicap Vehicles on Grounds:The Iola Old Car Show, Inc. allowsmobility cart operation at any time onany part of the show grounds. A mobilitycart is defined as a 3- or 4-wheeledelectric one passenger cart.Any individual may bring their ownmobility cart to the grounds, or rentalis available on the show grounds. Driversof mobility carts are responsible fortheir operation.Mobility carts are located north ofthe yellow steel shed building for $60per day. Wheelchairs, strollers, andwagons are also available. For details,call 877-588-4782 Ext. 2.No ATVs, motorbikes, lawn mowers,skate boards, tractors, or trailerson mobility carts are allowed at anytime. Those people who do not complywith this policy will be evicted from thegrounds; if the person is in possessionof, or residing on, an Iola Old Car Showspace(s), the space(s) will be revoked.Emergency information:If you require assistance, call 715-445-4000; for non-emergency securityassistance, call 715-258-4466; or in anemergency dial 911.Telephones:Telephones are located in the mainarea near the yellow steel building andin the campground registration area.Only credit cards may be used for longdistance.Water Fountains:Located outside the three permanentrest rooms, across from the telephonesand in the campground.Lost & Found:Lost & Found service is located at theTower. Lost children should be broughtto the Tower office. Missing childrenshould also be reported there. We donot page individuals who become separatedfrom their parties. When attendingIola shows it is suggested you work out ameeting area should your party becomeseparated. Two good places would be at
the base of the Tower or in the large resttent located adjacent to the steel building,near the Tower.Public Address Announcements:Emanating from the Tower, these areonly made in cases of emergency, suchas a lost child, severe family emergencies,or severe health problems.Bicycles, Scooters, Skateboards,Golf Carts, ATVs:These vehicles are not allowed tooperate on the show grounds. Strictlyobserved during main show day hoursShow Car Area:Show Car Area: Absolutely No “ForSale” signs may be placed on vehicles inthe show car exhibit area.No Overnight Parking:No Overnight Parking: All parkingareas should be cleared by 9:00 p.m.each evening of the show. All gateswill be closed and locked by 10:00 p.m.Officers will be checking to insure thelots are cleared. No overnight parkingof postwar vehicles is permitted, unlessspecific authorization is obtained fromthe Tower and the vehicles are movedto a designated area. Violation of theserequirements may result in the vehiclebeing towed.Fires:No open fires of any type arepermitted on the show grounds orparking areas. Fire dangers, along withregulations, make such violations a fineand liability offense.Pets:Pets are not allowed on the showgrounds. Ice may also beobtained and purchased from businessesin Iola.Sunscreen, Batteries, Aspirin:These items may be purchased fromthe Tower information booth.Cash Advance:Debit card withdrawals and cashadvance on Master Card or VISA areavailable at the Tower.Hours of operation:Thursday: 12:00-5:00 p.m.Friday: 9:00-6:00 p.m.Saturday: 9:00-6:00 p.m.Sunday: 9:00-3:00 p.m.ATM Machine:Located North of Tower and nearToy Barn on BU RowParts Hauling:This service is provided by BoyScouts, who can be contacted justsoutheast of the tower. Heavy-dutypush-type garden carts are used, whichcan handle most parts, except heavyengines and bulky items.Showers:Free showers are available in thecampground. Showers will be closedeach night between 12 a.m. and 4 a.m.Iola-Scandinavia High School at 540S. Jackson St. Cost is $3.Hours of operation are:Wednesday:4 - 10:00 p.m.Thursday:6:00 - 9:00 a.m. and 4:00-10:00 p.m.Friday:6:00-9:00 a.m. and 4:00-10:00 p.m.Saturday:6:00-9:00 a.m. and 4:00- 10:00 p.m.Sunday:6:00-9:00 a.m.Hyler Septic Service, LLC has ashower trailer located on the MainGrounds west of the tower near the restrooms.Cost is $6; soap and towel areavailable at extra cost. DMV, Special Plates Unit:DMV are not able to attend Iola OldCar Show. You may pick up vehicletitle and registration forms includingthose for antique, collector andhobbyist licenses plates at the TowerInformation.Souvenirs, Aerial Photos, Videos:A limited-edition 39th Iola Old CarShow anniversary souvenir vehicle willbe available to show visitors. A 1936Dodge Pick-up collector bank may beobtained at the Tower, Special Exhibittent, Upper and Lower Kiosk. Somecollector banks from 2004-10 shows areavailable at the Tower. Other collectableitems include Iola posters and someother back-issue posters, dash plaquesfrom past shows, Collector coins, keychains, participant buttons, the Iola carpin, and aerial photos of earlier shows.Screwball T-shirts has official Iola OldCar Show products, including T-shirtsand caps. He is located in swap meetspaces W1, W16-18, X15-18, BU1-3,and BH154- 155.Church Services:Services are available at several areachurches this weekend:• Iola Old Car Show campground,reception area.
