Fred received a special request from the Curator of the famed PetersonAutomotiveMuseuminLosAngeles,Ca.Theywantedtofeatureitina“SCOOTER”exhibitstartinginJuneof2011.ThescooterwasbuiltbyBruceMohswhenhewas14yearsoldin1947.Althoughithadnotbeenseenforover40years,withhelpfromour“pickersteam”,itwasbroughtoutofstorageandbeganaveryfastonemonthrestoration.ThescooterhasalreadybeentransportedtoCaliforniaandispresentlyondisplay.Aftertheyearlongshowing,plansaretohaveitatothermuseums,andhereatIOLAfornextyearsshow. YESthebattleshipwillbeback!The31footscalemodeloftheBattleship“USSshopactivities,studentscanrealizetheircreativeabilitiesandbecomethe“designersand inventors of the future”.The Indy Car helps to get the “juices flowing” andsupport our motto “If you dream it, we can build it”.Hot Rod High was recentlycontacted,toassistinthedevelopmentofTechnicalCollegePrograms.Theprogramcontinues to grow with expansion and involvement with other high schools.Bringalong a teacher or someone from your school, we are always eager to assist inbringingtheseideasandopportunitiestoyoulocalschool. After a whirlwind tour “HOT ROD KEYBOARD” is back. This oneofakind allfiberglass car and electronic piano hasbecome quite a Rock & Roll Beach Partyattraction. With unique construction,styling,awesomepaint,classicflamesandtraditionalpinstripingitwillbeanothermustseedisplay. “HotRodHigh”Carsandprojectsfrompastyearswillalsobeondisplay.Fredwillbeavailabletotellyouoftheirhowtheywerecustombuiltinschoolforthecustomerswhoprovidedthemforexhibit.
