E5.A2.1.32. Unit Training at a Designated Training Area. The geographic area in<br />
which unit training is conducted. The training area can be described as an installation, an<br />
area of a city, o<strong>the</strong>r public land, or a body of water.<br />
E5.A2.1.33. Unit Training. All or part of a unit ac<strong>com</strong>plishing training objectives<br />
at a location, o<strong>the</strong>r than <strong>the</strong> permanent duty location. Unit training includes exercises<br />
that have not received an official designation.<br />
E5.A2.1.34. U.S. Domestic Civil Operation. Activies and measures taken by <strong>the</strong><br />
Department of Defense to foster mutual assistance and support between <strong>the</strong> Department<br />
of Defense and any civil government agency in planning, preparing for, or applying<br />
resources for border patrol augmentation and in response to <strong>the</strong> consequences of civil<br />
emergencies or attacks, including national security emergencies.<br />
