The alphabetic code that represents <strong>the</strong> principal divisions<br />

and outlying and associated areas of <strong>the</strong> U.S. for <strong>the</strong><br />

actual shore or port location of <strong>the</strong> unit to which a member<br />

has reported for duty. See attachment 4 for a list of<br />

domain values and definitions. If non-US, afloat at sea, or<br />

unknown, report ZZ.<br />

The code that represents <strong>the</strong> principal geopolitical entity of<br />

<strong>the</strong> world for <strong>the</strong> actual shore or port location of <strong>the</strong> unit to<br />

which a member has reported for duty. See attachment 5<br />

for a list of domain values and definitions. Report U.S. for<br />

<strong>the</strong> 50 States and District of Columbia and <strong>the</strong> appropriate<br />

value for o<strong>the</strong>r U.S. and all non-U.S. territory. If afloat at<br />

sea or unknown, report ZZ.<br />

The identifier that represents a designated USPS mail<br />

service region and a definitive delivery drop within <strong>the</strong><br />

region for <strong>the</strong> actual shore or afloat location of <strong>the</strong> unit to<br />

which a member has reported for duty. If <strong>the</strong> Extension<br />

Identifier is unknown, report all zeros in <strong>the</strong> last four<br />

positions of <strong>the</strong> field. If non-USPS or unknown, report all<br />

zeros.<br />

The code that represents <strong>the</strong> major body of water for <strong>the</strong><br />

actual afloat location of <strong>the</strong> unit to which a member has<br />

reported for duty. See attachment 11 for a list of domain<br />

values and definitions. Applicable if <strong>the</strong> duty unit is afloat<br />

at sea. If not applicable or unknown, report ZZ.<br />

Report all blanks.<br />

The score achieved on <strong>the</strong> Defense Language Aptitude<br />

Battery. Valid values: 012-164. If not applicable or<br />

unknown, report 000.<br />

The code that represents a means of <strong>com</strong>munication<br />

based on a formalized system of sounds and/or symbols.<br />
