EVA26. The plunger and return spring may now beinstalled. Lubricate bore and plunger generously.Using an even rotational force on backof plunger, press plunger into bore.27. Insert filter magnet assembly into drivecase.Ensure tube is securely fastened to pin, Item264 (Figure 9) and filter. The tube must notcome in contact with the eccentric or theplunger return spring.Figure 12. Replenishment Valve Hole.28. Before installing the plunger body, be sure thestroke adjuster is set at 100% and the motor isrotated until the eccentric is at its lowest pointin relation to plunger contact (full suctionstroke).29. Position gasket so all required holes arealigned. Be sure replenishment and hydraulicrelief valve holes are in proper orientation. Thelarger hole is for the hydraulic relief valve port.30. Insert plunger body so that stem is pointing up.The two different positions available are foundwhen pump motor is mounted in either horizontalor vertical positions.31. To ensure that replenishment valve is installedcompletely, place rear contour plate Item 251(Figure 9) onto plunger body (Size B only). On pumps withvertical motors, gear box oil must be drained.2. Detach housing (308) using an adjustablewrench and remove assembly. See breakdownof the assembly in Figure 15.3. Both knob and sleeve utilize locating o-rings. Itis not necessary to replace o-rings unless theyare damaged.4. The knob o-ring, item 304, is located inside, atthe end of bore. Remove with small angledtool. If replacement is necessary, lubricate withlight oil.5. Sleeve o-ring, Item 307, is located on outsideof adjuster housing (308). If replacement isnecessary, do not lubricate.6. Install o-ring on outside of housing stem andpress on calibrated sleeve. Use no lubricant.Calibration marks should face top of pump.7. Install o-ring, Item 304, into stroke adjusterknob.8. Place adjusting knob on shaft and dial in,clockwise, until adjustment bottoms. Back out1/2 turn. Be sure “zero” mark on knob alignswith “zero” on calibrated sleeve, when pumpflow is zero.9. Check for proper operation. Turn calibratedsleeve to align zero mark.10. Install assembly using new o-ring.19
