<strong>EVA</strong>SECTION 1DESCRIPTION1.1 GENERAL INFORMATIONThe Milton Roy <strong>EVA</strong> pump is a compact productdesigned for low flow ranges. Additionally the <strong>EVA</strong>is based on a modular design. The metering pumphas four independent assemblies as illustrated inFigure 1.1.2 DRIVECASE ASSEMBLYThe heavy-duty construction furnishes strength<strong>and</strong> durability. The drivecase accept NEMA 56C<strong>and</strong> IEC71 motor frames. Flow is manually adjustablewhile pump is stationary or running or can beeasily upgraded to an electronic stroke adjuster.The drivecase is fully sealed to prevent contamination.1.3 LIQUID END ASSEMBLYThe liquid end uses a single diaphragm design,without a process side contour plate. Positive sealingball check valves create the pumping action.Check valves can be easily replaced or rebuilt inthe field. St<strong>and</strong>ard wet end materials include 316Lstainless steel, Alloy 20, Hastalloy C, PVC, <strong>and</strong>PVDF.1.4 PLUNGER BODY ASSEMBLYMilton Roy provides a reciprocating plunger designthat features a 3/4 inch (19 mm) stroke length <strong>and</strong>six interchangeable plunger sizes (See Model/Product code located prior to Section one).Figure 1. <strong>EVA</strong> Modular Metering Pump1
