Totalnumber <strong>of</strong> inspectionsconducted is 24 013.Conduct 189 160routine inspections.Conduct 20 fullcompliance audit persector in a high risk &problematic sectors(240 per annum).Partially achievedA total <strong>of</strong> 157 312 routine inspectionswere conducted and 124 980complied, which resulted in 80% levelcompliance in the last twelve monthsperiod.Achieved378 inspections + 249 investigations(incidents)• A total number <strong>of</strong> 378 inspectionswere conducted in the high risksectors in the period under review.The public servicestrike had anegative impactThe introduction<strong>of</strong> the teamapproach andMonthly blitzesreduced thenumber <strong>of</strong>resourcesavailable for dailyinspectionsand slow filling <strong>of</strong>vacanciesImpacted on theachievement <strong>of</strong>targets as thetargets were basedon the full staffcompliment.Due to financialconstraints, theactivities <strong>of</strong> theroving team had tobe trimmed down.1 April 2010 - 31 March <strong>2011</strong>
