MENDELOVA UNIVERZITA V BRNĚ. Sada pro vyměřování odběrové plochy porostů. VESELÝ, P. – HAVLÍČEK, Z.– SKLÁDANKA, J. 21605, Úřad průmyslového vlastnictví, Česká republika.Sada pro vyměřování odběrové plochy sestává z tyčí, provazů a aretačních prvků. Umožňuje rychlým a snadnýmzpůsobem vymezit prostor a odebrat požadované vzorky a to při její malé hmotnosti a dobré skladovatelnosti.ZÁHORA, J. – FIŠEROVÁ, H. – NOVOSÁDOVÁ, I. – RUIZ SINOGA, J. D. Microbial activities related to the soil nitrogentransformation in humid mediterranean conditons. Obilnářské listy. 2011. sv. 2011, č. 1, s. 103–108.ISSN 1212-138X.This study was carried out in the soil under oak forest (Quercus suber L.) in humid Mediterranean condition in theSierra del Hacho situated in the Spanish province Malaga with the aim to estimate the effect of understory vegetationcover on soil microbial transformation of nitrogen (vs. bare soil). Soil samples were taken representativelytwice in consecutive years (July 2008 and February 2009, representing wet and dry part of the year, respectively)from the upper soil horizons to the depth of 10 cm. To quantify net rates of N mineralization and net nitrification(and/or immobilization) we have evaluated the net changes in ammonia- and nitrate-nitrogen contents extractedfrom homogenized soil samples during the laboratory incubation. The significant differences were found out betweenthe individual times of soil sampling (wet vs. dry part of the year) indicating the different soil conditionsfor mineral nitrogen immobilization, mainly sources of available soil carbon in the corresponding part of the year. However the differences between net nitrogen mineralization in soil samples collected beneath vegetation cover andfrom bare soil without the vegetation cover were not so evident. Our results indicate the importance of temporaland spatial heterogeneity of key soil conditions, which may ultimately determine rates of nutrient turnover in thishumid Mediterranean ecosystem.BRTNICKÝ, M. – FOUKALOVÁ, J. – POKORNÝ, E. – KYNICKÝ, J. Sledování bazální respirace půd střední Moravy.Úroda. 2011. sv. 12/2011, č. 12, s. 331–334. ISSN 0139-6013.Práce je věnována hodnotám bazální respirace půd střední Moravy. Vzorky byly odebírány ze dvou hloubek: ornice(0-0,30 m), podorničí (0,30-0,60 m). V ornici je průměrná hodnota 0,71 mg CO2/100g/h. V podorničí je průměrnáhodnota 0,58 mg CO2/100g/h. Srovnáním hodnot bazální respirace v ornici a podorničí byl zjištěn vysoce statistickyvýznamný rozdíl mezi těmito dvěma odběrovými hloubkami.BRABEC, T. – STRAKOVÁ, L. – KOPP, R. – VÍTEK, T. – ŠŤASTNÝ, J. – SPURNÝ, P. – MAREŠ, J. The influenceintensity of eutrophication on fishpond yield. Acta Universitatis Agriculturae et Silviculturae MendelianaeBrunensis. 2011. sv. LIX, č. 6, s. 53–62. ISSN 1211-8516.Fish ponds have been always built for purpose of fish farming and some additional functions. We evaluated fishfarming operation (in years 1990–2007) on the Sykovec and Medlov pond in altitude 700 meters above sea leveland Jaroslavický dolní pond in altitude 200 m. The samples for hydrochemical and hydrobiological analyses weretaken regularly at monthly intervals in 2008. We chose some parameters as a total nitrogen (NT), total phosphor(PT), chlorophyll – a and chemical oxygen demand(COD) and structure of phytoplankton which has an impact onfish production. We compared our result with former research work from 1996–1997. Higher levels of monitoredparameters have got a negative effect on spectrum of fish kind in managed fishponds.CILEČEK, M. – BARÁNEK, V. – VÍTEK, T. – KOPP, R. – MAREŠ, J. Production effect of different commercial feedson juvenile tench (Tinca tinca L.) under the intensive rearing conditions. Acta Universitatis Agriculturaeet Silviculturae Mendelianae Brunensis. 2011. sv. LIX, č. 6, s. 93–97. ISSN 1211-8516.Feeding experiment with juvenile tench was focused on evaluation of production effect of three different commercialfeeds with diff erentiated level energy and protein (Karpico Crumble Excellent Ex, Dan Ex 1352, Pro Aqua Brutfutter). In the 42-day experiment at 26 °C, commercial starters were fed intensively to tench of initially 18.92 mm meantotal length and 69.41 mg individual mean body weight. Main monitored indices were – survival rate (%), individualbody weight (mg) and specific weight growth rate (%.d-1). The best result was achieved with commercial starterPro Aqua Brutfutter – mean individual body weight 483.38 mg, specifi c weight growth 4.44 %.d-1 and survival99.1 %. Increasing level energy and protein increased production parameters of juvenile fish.DOLEŽAL, P. – SKLÁDANKA, J. – HAVLÍČEK, Z. – ZEMAN, L. – SZWEDZIAK, K. – TUKIENDORF, M.
